Beautiful JGA in Venice

Venice is probably one of the most unusual cities in the world - the capital of the Veneto region was built on more than 100 small islands in what is now the Venetian Lagoon in the Adriatic Sea, before the city spread to the mainland over time. Once one of the world's most important trading cities, particularly in Europe, and an important financial centre, the historic old town is now purely geared towards the tourist industry. But with good reason - a trip to Venice is a unique experience.

Venice's old town - city of canals

Even a simple walk through the centre of Venice shows what makes this city so unique. Even if you don't visit the most famous and popular sights, you can still see the city's historic buildings and its architectural heritage. Visits to the Grand Canal and the Rialto Bridge need to be planned carefully for the best possible experience, especially in high season, but the historic centre also has a lot to offer away from these hotspots. Venice is a UNESCO World Heritage Site for a reason!

To fully immerse yourself in the atmosphere of the city, we recommend a gondola tour through the Venetian canals.

Churches and museums

In the spirit of a tourist city, some of Venice's most important buildings have been optimised for visitors and also serve as museums.
