Medieval Bern has been the de facto capital of Switzerland since 1848 and is famous for its bear park. For sas symbol of the bear can be found on every corner and has even adorned the city's coat of arms since the 13th century. Here are the sights for a dreamy stag party in Bern.

Bern Old Town and Zytglogge

The time bell tower, the Zytglogge, is the city's landmark and has stood in its place in the heart of the historic old town since the early 13th century. Here, every hour on the hour, the clock plays the famous carillon, accompanied by the crowing of the mechanical cock.

Cobblestones, covered arcades and chiming bells await visitors to the old town. Yet the medieval core consists of cafés, restaurants and bookshops where visitors can unwind.
