Historic City of Bruges

Bruges is the capital of the province of West Flanders in Belgium and the largest city in the province with about 118,000 inhabitants. Find out what you can experience on your stag party in Bruges here.

In the late Middle Ages, the region around Bruges became one of the centres of the textile industry and long-distance trade in Europe, making it one of the birthplaces of early capitalism. The medieval townscape and historic buildings are still very well preserved today, as the city has never been destroyed by wars or fires. The medieval city centre was declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 2000.

De Halve Maan

De Halve Maan is a Belgian brewery that has been run as a family business since 1856, now in its 6th generation, and is a member of the Belgian Family Brewers society. The brewery and the attached beer museum can be visited. Due to a lack of space and increasing demand, there has been a beer pipeline since 2016, a three-kilometre-long beer pipeline that transports the beer underground through the city.

Chocolate Museum

For chocolate lovers, there is the Chocolate Museum and the Chocolate Line. In the Chocolate Museum you can get an interesting insight into the history of the famous Belgian chocolate. The Belfry

The Belfry is one of the sights in Bruges. It was built in the 13th century and integrated into the city halls on the central market square. The climb is a bit longer with 366 steps, but you get a wonderful view over the city from the top.
