Info about Lausanne

Lausanne is located in the south of Switzerland directly on the shores of turquoise-coloured Lake Geneva and is the headquarters of the International Olympic Committee. The French Alps and picturesque, colourful streets await you on your stag party in Switzerland's fourth largest city.

Ouchy Castle and Lake Geneva

Ouchy Castle (Château d'Ouchy) is located in the dreamy district of Ouchy on the shores of Lake Geneva. The castle dates back to the early 12th century and is now run as a luxury hotel. A stroll along the promenade in the summer months takes you into a sea of flowerbeds and boats bobbing in the sparkling water.

Lake Geneva rests in the shape of a crescent moon at the foot of the Alps. On a boat trip, you can experience the idyllic landscape of vineyards, small villages and white Alpine peaks in the distance. The boats connect Lausanne with the French towns on the southern shore of the lake and take you comfortably to Geneva in the west and Montreux in the east.
