Once the most important Viking city in Ireland, today a European metropolis - Dublin has a lot to offer not only historically, but also culturally and culinary. A trip to the city on the coast is worthwhile for a visit to the Guinness Storehouse alone. However, this is not the only sight you should not miss on your stag party in Dublin!

The Spire and the O'Connell Bridge

The city's landmark, The Spire, is located directly in the city centre north of the River Liffey. Built in 2003 and 121 metres high, the stainless steel spire is located next to the city's historic post office and is brightly lit at night.

After a walk across O'Connell Bridge, the next place to visit is Trinity College. The renowned university was founded in 1592 and impresses with its breathtaking architecture. While you're there, you should also visit the Old Library, which houses ancient manuscripts of the New Testament dating back to the 8th century.

A city full of pubs and fun

If the city tour makes you thirsty, that's no problem - the infamous Temple Bar district is right on the riverbank and a must-see. Pubs are strung together like pearls on a necklace and offer great live music. Above all, Irish craft beer and Irish whiskey are THE classics here.

If you are a fan of beer, you should not forget to visit the Guinness Storehouse. The famous Guinness beer was brewed in this 117-year-old building, which now houses a museum about its history. At the end of your museum tour, you can relax in the Gravity Bar on the top floor of the building.
