FAQ
On this page we answer the most common questions about our stag party tours. We have collected many questions over the last few years and hope to be able to give you all the answers. If you still have questions, please do not hesitate to contact us by mail and we will reply to you as soon as possible.
Organisational issues
How much does the tour cost per person?
The group price of 99.00 euros always remains the same, no matter how many participants you are. You only have to divide this amount by your number to determine the per capita price.
Will the price of the tour be higher if there are more of us?
No, we have an all-inclusive price for every group size, i.e. there are no additional costs for you.
Where is the meeting point for the tours?
There is no fixed meeting point for our stag party tours. However, it makes sense to start the tour at the starting point we have planned. You can find out where this is in your stag party city on our website. However, thanks to the option of playing the tour without GPS, you can also start at the location of your choice and then continue later in the city centre at the designated location.
Where does our tour end?
Can we postpone the tour at short notice?
This is of course possible at any time before the stag party without any problems. Please note, however, that it is no longer possible to reschedule from the start of the day of the stag party, as your access has already been activated in the system and this can no longer be cancelled. If you would like to postpone your stag party, simply send us an e-mail in advance and we will make the changes for you.
Until when can we cancel?
You can cancel the tour free of charge up to one week before your stag party date, after that we charge a cancellation fee of 50% on the purchase price.
You can find more details in our Terms of Use.
Can I reach you if I have any questions on the weekend of the stag party?
Of course, we are also available by e-mail on the weekend of the stag party via support@hen-stag-buddies.com and will help you as soon as possible. Please understand that we can only deal with urgent problems with ongoing stag parties here.
about the app
Does each participant download the app on his/her mobile phone?
No, that is not necessary. The tasks are designed so that it is sufficient for one person to log into the app. In this way, we want to ensure that it really is a group experience and not everyone is focussed on their smartphone. Nevertheless, it is possible for 3 devices to log in at the same time if you wish. This makes it easier to switch devices if a battery runs out and is also useful for larger groups.
When will we get access to the app?
You will receive access for your stag party tour 4 days before your specified JGA day. Access is valid for a total of 72 hours. We therefore recommend that you log in the day before the stag party to get an overview. Of course you are not allowed to solve the tasks yet, these are then already marked as solved and are no longer available to you on the stag party.
Can I start the tour on Saturday, for example, and then continue playing on Sunday?
That's no problem, with the stag party concept you really are completely flexible. The tour is available from Friday to Sunday on the stag party weekend and you decide for yourself when it fits best into your programme.
How do we know how many tasks are still to come?
In the map view in the app, you can always see your current progress and the points you have already scored at the top. Here you can also see how many tasks you have already completed and how many there are in total for the corresponding tour. You can also see all available spots directly on your map as a round icon.
Challenges
How exactly does the City Battle work?
In the City Battle, you are divided into teams of three, with the groom or bride forming their own team. If it doesn't work out exactly, one or two participants can also assist the Bachelor/Bride. In each challenge, one candidate from each team or the entire team competes against the Bachelor/Bride and their team mates. Whoever wins the challenge wins the points for their team. The team with the most points at the end is the winning team of the City Battle.
Do we learn anything about the city during the tour?
The sights of the respective city are not neglected in our City Battle. However, we have not included any background information on the sights in the tasks, as this does not correspond to the game concept. However, you will of course be able to experience the beautiful places in the city centre.
Is the tour embarrassing for the bride/groom or the group?
You decide for yourself whether you want to take it easy with the "Skilled and Chilled" variant and avoid contact with strangers or whether you want to challenge your group a little more with the "Rough and Tough" variant. You will also come into contact with other people and the odd laugh is guaranteed.
Do we need to come into contact with people outside the group during the tasks on the tour?
In the "Skilled and Chilled" version, you only solve the tasks within your group. If you choose the "Rough and Tough" version, you will certainly need the help of passers-by for some tasks.
Do we need any other things for the tasks or do we have to prepare anything?
We will of course provide you with almost everything you need for the tour. You just need a few things that you usually already have at home anyway. You can find the list here. However, you will need to organise your own catering, which is not included in the tour 😉.
Other questions
Is the tour suitable for pregnant women?
In this case, we recommend the "Skilled and Chilled" variant. All tasks can be completed by the whole group and you can choose the pace at which you play the tour. Of course, you can also take a break at any time. If a task is not feasible for the pregnant woman, she can simply skip this round.
Does the tour also take place in bad weather?
Of course you can also celebrate your stag party in the rain with our city rallies - many teams have already had a lot of fun with our tour in the city centre in the rain. You also have the option of switching the tour to GPS-independent at any time and then solving the tasks at the location of your choice (in this case indoors at your home or in a café or similar). Here we also recommend the "Skilled and Chilled" variant.
Can I start the tour on Saturday, for example, and then continue playing on Sunday?
That's no problem. With our concept, you really are completely flexible. The tour is available from Friday to Sunday on the weekend of the stag party and you decide for yourself when it fits best into your programme.
How do we know how many tasks are still to come?
In the map view in the app, you can always see your current progress and the points you have already scored at the top. Will we be provided with drinks during the tour?
Drinks are not included in our package. However, the tours always take you directly through the city centre. There are usually regular shopping opportunities here so that you can stock up on supplies.
