In the centre of Poland, its capital Warsaw lies directly on the Vistula river. The history-rich city is the perfect destination for any stag party - and we'll tell you why!

The Old Town of Warsaw and Castle Square

Warsaw's Old Town is particularly impressive. After its destruction during the Second World War, it was reconstructed true to the original and is now a UNESCO World Heritage Site - the youngest old town in Europe, so to speak. There are not only many small shops to explore, but the Rynek Starego Miasta, which is also called Warsaw's most beautiful square, is especially worth seeing. After a night of drinking, you'll find many cafés here where you can enjoy a hearty breakfast and a hot coffee.

From there, it's not far to Castle Square. Located in front of Warsaw Castle, the square is also home to the baroque Sigismund Column, Poland's landmark.

In the south of the city you will also find the Wilanów Palace. This breathtaking building with beautifully decorated facades was built in the 17th century and can now be visited extensively on various tours. The garden behind the palace is also worth a visit!

Nightlife in Warsaw

Of course, a stag party can't be complete without numerous party options - luckily, Warsaw has a lot to offer in this aspect as well. The so-called Vistula Boulevard is known as a colourful party mile, where you will find a handful of clubs and bars. In summer, you can also sit outside and watch the sunset. The Praga district is also a great place to spend long nights. Several bars with live music have opened in the old factory buildings, which are ideal for long parties.

Starting to get hungry? Then you shouldn't miss out on Pierogi ruskie! The national dish consists of dumplings that are reminiscent of ravioli, but filled much more heartily. You can choose between a potato curd, meat, onion and mushroom filling. This dish is also available as a dessert - the version filled with strawberries and blueberries is particularly popular.
