In the challenges, you compete in teams of 3 in the categories of Fun, Sport, Skill, Public and Knowledge. Copenhagen, the capital of Denmark and the cultural and economic centre of the country - a fantastic choice! Enjoy your JGA in one of the most important metropolises in Northern Europe. Our exciting city rallies will take you right through the city centre so that you can experience many different programme points and have an exciting time in the Nordic city!

Tivoli theme park

Visit Tivoli - the amusement park opened in 1843 with many different roller coasters, rides, cabarets and pantomime theatres. With 23 rides and 37 different restaurants, you'll have a lot of fun.

Lille Havfrue

You can find the "Lille Havfrue", the Little Mermaid, on the Langelinie waterfront promenade. The figure is modelled on the fairy tale of the same name by Danish poet Hans Christian Andersen. The 1.25 metre tall figure was inaugurated on 23 August 1913 and is considered one of the smallest landmarks in the world. It was created by the Copenhagen sculptor Edvard Eriksen.

To recharge your batteries between the various excursions, Nyhavn offers you numerous restaurants and beer bars. The central harbour is one of the most important sights. Enjoy your refreshment amidst the colourful gabled houses on both sides of the canal, which have adorned it since the 18th and 19th centuries. The area is still one of the most famous entertainment districts in Copenhagen with its many dance halls.

Copenhagen Zoo

Animal lovers will find their happiness at Copenhagen Zoo. Founded in 1859, it is the oldest zoo in Denmark and one of the oldest zoos in Europe. The zoo is a geozoo, the animals are kept according to their areas of origin and continents. There is also a giraffe house, the nocturnal animal house "The Living Night" and the "Tropical Zoo".

The royal garden

For nature lovers, Copenhagen offers several parks and gardens, including a botanical garden, the Botanisk Have. This is part of Copenhagen's ramparts and today serves as a research institution and recreational area. The Royal Garden, Kongens Have, is a green area in the centre of Copenhagen, which was created in 1606 on the initiative of the Danish King Christian IV. Among other things, you will find a baroque garden and a rose garden there.
